Digital Photography I-All about the Basics

A basic beginner class for those interested in understanding how their camera settings work, and how to override some of those basic settings so you are in control, not the camera.  Whether you are considering transitioning to digital from a film-based camera, have been shooting with digital for some time, or are totally new to the digital world... this is the course for you!    The class will cover the how and why of ISO, white balance & shooting modes, and how to override these settings using the program mode.  We will also cover the very basics of photo editing, uploading to a computer and sending pics away to an online photo lab for printing.  Two on-location photo shoots will take place locally on Saturday mornings (session 1: 9/24 & 10/8) (session 2:  11/5 & 12/3).  Any digital camera can be used.  Enrollment will include a workbook & in class photo slideshow.
