Join parent volunteer coaches in a fun adaptive basketball workshop to brush up on skills before leagues begin in January! MrThis workshop will meet 4 times before the end of the year on the following Mondays: October 25, November 8, November 22, and December 13 in the RARA Gym from 7:00-8:00. Sessions will include small group and large group drills, with some scrimmages mixed in. Please register by October 20 so coaches have time to prepare.

$40 per player

Enjoy a movie and a pizza snack with friends, one Friday a month from September-April. This opportunity is designed to support persons with special needs. 14+ years

Adaptive Fun with Animals

This program is designed for people with disabilities. Join us for a fun session with a Rochester Hills Naturalist learning about animals that can be found within our communities. The Naturalist will provide animal skins, pelts, and other props to see. If weather permits, we may even experience real-live animals!

 WERQ is the wildly addictive cardio dance class based on the hottest pop and hip hop music. The workout is nonstop with repetitive athletic moves and fresh dance steps, so you get the best sweat. WERQ Instructors build a playlist based on trendsetting pop and hip hop music.

Join Paint a Miracle for the fun. We will be making amazing mosaic creations using colorful glass beads, buttons, clay, and more.

Parents/aides are welcome to attend with the participant to help.This class will be held at RARA

Paint a Miracle Art Studio is uniquely designed to offer people living with disabilities and other challenges rich art opportunities developed to ignite the artist's imagination and self-discovery. Studio classes are offered for ages pre-primary through adult. Emphasis is placed on individual process, creativity, and expression. We are located at 400 Water St. Suite LL4 Rochester, MI 48307.

One Monday a month enjoy a meal with friends at various local restaurants. This opportunity is designed to support persons with special needs. Participants pay for their own meal, beverage, and tip. PRE-REGISTER EARLY as spots are very limited and so that we have enough assistance and space reserved in the restaurants. 14+ Years

Movies and times are based on the current theater schedule. Spots are EXTREMELY limited, so you must pre-register so that we have enough assistance and space reserved.
