RARA SCAMP 2021

Rochester Exploration Innovation will take place of SCAMP 2021. This summer's fee is $480.

Rochester Exploration Innovation will be taking place this summer instead of traditional SCAMP. It will run from June 21-July 29. Each day will run from 10:00-2:00. There will be no days off for Forth of July.

Rochester Exploration Innovation will largely be an outdoor program this summer with the exception of bowling or shopping/being inside places inside of the community. No field trips will be taken by bus, but we plan to walk around Rochester while enjoying time in the community with friends. We will have occasional guest groyos ti teach art, drama, animals, etc. In the case of rain, we will provide alternate plans to meet at RARA or a separate venue at Spencer Beach.

Camper/staff ratio will remain close to a 3:1 as it has been in years past.

Rochester Exploration Innovation ill be divided into two cohorts by age. If you child is in the younger half of participants, please assume they are part of Group A. If your child is in the older half of participants, please assume they are part of Group B. If your child is in the mid-range of participants, you will be contacted upon completion of registration as to which group they would fall into. Group A and B will both have the same staff members, and staff members will stay the same throughout the summer.

Mondays: Group A meets at Avon North Hill Lanes at 10:00 to be picked up at Rochester Municipal Park Duck Pond at 2:00 PM
Tuesdays: Group A to be dropped off at Spencer Beach at 10:00 and picked up at 2:00
Wednesdays: Group B meets at Spencer Beach at 10:00 to be picked up at 2:00
Thursdays: Group B to be dropped off at Avon North Hill Lanes at 10:00 to be picked up at Rochester Municipal Park Duck Pond at 2:00 PM

On bowling days, mornings will be spent at the bowling alley. After bowling, campers will walk to different locations within the city of Rochester (Dairy Queen, the library, and the park for example). The ending location will be Rochester Municipal Park's Duck pond (police station parking lot).]

Spencer Beach days will be spent as we have done so in the past. Please come with a swimsuit, towel, and your own beach buckets/shovels/toys. Exact location at Spencer Beach is TBD.
