Instructors:

Our dance teachers are trained, experienced, mature, and sensitive to the needs of both children and adults. Our teachers will instruct proper technique, self confidence, strength and flexibility, and stage performance.

Attendance Policy:

Consistent attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class.  Please make every effort to have students at each class.  More than one absence in the last six weeks of the recital term could jeopardize the dancer’s performance opportunity.

Make-up Policy:

There are no make-up or refund opportunities for students who miss class due to illness, travel, family situations, etc.  Classes cancelled due to inclement weather conditions cannot be make up or refunded. There will be make-ups scheduled if the class is cancelled when an instructor is unable to conduct class. Make-up lessons may not be the same day or time as originally scheduled. If changes in the schedule are made, students will be notified by email or phone.

Dress Code Policy:

Dancewear is worn for all classes.  Students may not dance in street clothes.  No loose fitting clothing or excessive jewelry, please.  Hair must be worn off the neck, out of eyes and must be secured before class.  See shoe requirements with the class listings.   Please see the detailed dancewear information below is available on our website or request a handout at the front desk.

Dance Class Information:

Students must be the listed age at time of registration and meet skill requirements where specified. Most classes perform a short routine on the last day of class.

Recital Dance Class Information:

Students are measured and costumes are ordered in November.

Costumes are sized according to the manufacturers’ chart.  Size charts are available for parents to view if concerned about sizing.  There may be a costume return fee of $20 if parent requests an exchange after delivery.
