Mini Musicians: Babies Only Class

 Registration begins December 1.

Babies Only class is a 10 week class taught by Ms. Jenna of Mini Musicians who follows the Music Together curriculum.

The Music Together Babies class is for families with infants from birth through eight months. This is a one-semester introduction to Music Together and to early childhood music development. The music activities in a Babies class are specifically designed to teach parents how to support music development in infancy and how to connect with their infants through music, using concepts like "purposeful touch", "sound layering", and "dancing for baby". Babies classes use the same collection as mixed-age classes, enabling a seamless transition for families and teachers between class programs.

All families receive a CD, song book, and parent guide with registration. Please bring a baby blanket.

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilities adult involvement.
