The aim of the course is to enable students to understand what they hear and see in French and to express themselves orally in a fun environment. Lessons will be held through games, songs and videos.  No book needed.

Drum circles are not just about drumming. They are so much more. They are an effective tool for health and wellness and a breath of fresh air in our fragmented stressed out world. Research is pouring out pointing to Therapeutic Drum Circles as a powerful option for stress reduction and that is good news given that stress is the precursor for mental and physical illness. They are also a great tool in cooperative team-building and community. But, above all, it's a lot of fun! Anyone can participate. Instruments are provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Slimetopia 2 STEAM Camp: Afternoon Camp

By colossally popular demand comes this squishy, stretchy sequel to our best-selling Slimetopia camp.  This time, the world is being taken over by slime!  You and your STEAM Team will ooze with excitement as you visit countries around the globe, making a different kind of slime at each destination, from Italian pizza slime to Antarctic penguin slime to Hawaiian lava slime to tons of other slippery, drippy, gooey, global slimes in between!

Is your child ready to learn to sketch cartoon faces quickly? Artist Andrew Sigman breaks down the process, making it fun and easy. Before class begins, he will do a souvenir drawing of each participant. Next, there will be a short class showing how to visualize the face in a simplified way, what is needed to capture a person's likeness, and tips so one can make fast decisions. The remainder of time will be spent putting this new knowledge into practice, with participants drawing as many caricatures as they can with supportive and helpful critiques. Kids will leave with increased knowledge about drawing, a caricature of themselves, and the caricatures they created on cardstock and in plastic sleeves. All material will be provided.

Don’t have your child sit at home bored! Sign them up to take a class all about making slime! They have the opportunity to make a variety of different slimes such as scented slime, fluffy colored slime, or themed slime! Participants will get to take home all of the slime that they make at the end of the class.

Have you ever wanted to play the piano? The Simply Music piano method will get you playing great sounding music from your very first lessons! Simply Music is a playing-based (as opposed to reading-based) method that puts the emphasis on playing. We start by finding the patterns and shapes found naturally in music. This gets you playing. Then we apply those same patterns and shapes to the "theory" of music. Come try it out for yourself!
