If someone wants to hurt our children, they won’t choose a time or a place with witnesses.  That means no parents, no teachers, no policemen, just our children and the predator.  The safety of our children will depend on their ability to recognize a threat and respond effectively.  This fun, interactive and age appropriate workshop teaches essential, lifesaving information about the threats facing our children, strategies for prevention and real-world techniques designed to reduce their risk of abductions, assaults and other forms of violence.  But most of all, these programs teach students that they have the right to be safe, that no one has the right to hurt them and that their life is worth protecting.  This class is taught by Live Safe Academy.

Kids, have fun and learn to be safe at the same time!  Learn real self-defense and practice on an instructor wearing a padded suit.  You’ll also learn fire safety, how to use 911, stranger awareness, drug resistance, gun accident prevention and more.  Cartoons, art, physical practice and classroom games are just some of the fun ways that you will learn in this camp.

Parents, nothing is more important to us than our children. This camp is more than just a week of fun, it is an investment into a lifetime of safety.  Kids will need daily lunch, snacks, water bottle, bag for activities sheets and handouts.  Teaching child safety since 1990, we have the experience that empowers kids with the knowledge, skills and mindset that they need to stay safe.  This class is taught by Live Safe Academy.

Learn how to respond effectively to adult, child and infant cardiac and choking emergencies, sudden illness, bleeding and other life-threatening conditions from the American Red Cross programs that set the national standard. You will also learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and your vital role in the chain of survival.

Statistically people are at greatest risk for assault twice in their life, when they are going to high school/college and when they are senior citizens.  But the most common assaults are easy to avoid IF you know how to recognize the warning signs and IF you know what to do.  Learn real world self-defense for everyday people from an instructor who taught an accredited self-defense course at three college campuses to thousands of college students over the course of 14 years.  Simple skills that are easy to learn and remember, and that have a proven track record of saving lives.  This class with be taught by Live Safe Academy.

Learn to be safe and responsible, build confidence, and have a competitive edge over other babysitters with this one-day live virtual class. Live virtual training get to learn from the comfort of your own home from anywhere in the world, and you can interact with the instructor and ask questions like in a traditional in-person class. Topics include: First aid, when and how to call 911, CPR, choking, and more. Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. You will be emailed your class link by RARA or Live Safe Academy.

Please check your system ahead of time. Video and audio participation is required for certification. Students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end to be certified. The course fee is for admission and does not guarantee certification. Students who complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of participation in the Live Safe Academy - Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid Course.

Kids, would you like to learn pet first aid and be a certified Pet Sitter? Increase your competitive edge by being more valuable to families with pets and kids. Increase your market by being certified to watch pets and kids. Learn to care for the pets in your own family. Have fun and help keep animals safe. 

This is an add on class for students who participate in the Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course on the same day (students of a previous Live Safe Academy Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course can become a certified pet sitter by taking our Virtual - Certified Pet Sitter/CPR/First Aid program. This program will begin after the babysitter safety class ends. Class should be concluded by 3 PM to 4 PM, depending on when the babysitter safety course is completed.
