Wild Adventures Camps explore the outdoors on foot, by bike and by boat! Our camp is your playground for cycling, swimming, climbing, fishing, pedal boating, stargazing and making friends! Go techno-green with geocaching (a GPS scavenger hunt) and eco-arts & crafts. On Friday, you’ll enjoy a relaxing campfire picnic and a trip to Waterford Oaks Waterpark for some much needed cooling off!

Ages 6 – 13

Wild Adventures EXTREME (ages 11-15) includes all the fun of Wild Adventures Camp plus canoeing, backpacking, shelter building and outdoor survival skills. Campers will go river paddling on the Clinton River and campout overnight at Camp Wilderness on Thursday – learn firebuilding, campfire cooking, and camping skills. Come and join us around the campfire!

Ages 11 - 15

Participants will be picked up at the Rochester Municipal Park near the Police Station and bussed to Independence Oaks County Park and back. Pick up time and drop off times will be available at registration time. Extended care is available from 7:00 a.m. – until camp starts and from when they get dropped off until 6 pm. Latchkey is $3.00 per hour, per child. Please look at our punch card system under the RARA Day Camp Information. ENROLLMENTS ARE LIMITED, REGISTRATION IS TAKEN IN PERSON ONLY! Upon registration, please bring with you the following information: child’s doctor’s name and phone number, date of last tetanus shot, medical information, name of insurance company, address, and group policy number.

Spend 3 days at Red Oaks Waterpark kayaking, snorkeling, rock climbing, games, competitions and more! Explore geocaching (a GPS scavenger hunt) at Madison Heights Nature Center. Jump in...the water is great!
